The Internet is a great thing but there are some things in cyber space you'd be best to avoid.

Check out the ThinkUKnow site for up to date advice on being safe online.

The Youth Advisory Panel (who are a group of teenagers from around the UK) have been hard at work updating the content. There are now new videos, games and information on how you can be involved in the thinkuknow project.

Moodle Upgrade 18th Jan Tuesday morning, 7-9am
by Tim Rawe - Monday, 18 January 2010, 11:06 AM

Please be aware that an upgrade has to be applied to our Moodle system tomorrow morning, starting at 7am. Given previous experience these upgrades are completed very quickly (usually within 30 minutes) but the work may take until 9am. Please do not use the system within this time slot.

The rapid nature of the upgrade is because this is a security based requirement to add the latest fixes to the system. No new functionality is being added, and no other changes are being made to the system.

by Tim Rawe - Tuesday, 12 January 2010, 09:09 AM

ClickView logoThe School is launching use of its ClickView Video system this coming term. Information about the system can be found here. The ClickView player application is installed on all PCs within the School and the link is in the root of the All Programs list on the Start menu.

Initially videos will be available for viewing within the School network, but once our ERA licence is upgraded the videos can be linked on VLE pages and viewed from outside of School.
